Tanya Platt (and Warren)

Well, the big news in our family is that Warren's second-cousin is now President of the Church.

Okay, it might not actually be second-cousin. It might be first-cousin-twice-removed, or something silly like that. Basically, Warren's grandmother has a cousin who was born on the same day she was, and who grew up on the same street she did, and who's as close as family can be. Around her house they just call him Tom.

Things haven't changed much for the two of us, though. Warren is getting ready for the Spring show. This year his ballet company is putting on The Frog Prince, which is a favorite of the artistic director's. Appropriately, Warren will be playing the Demon King. At the same time, he'll be finishing the last of his schooling and starting Student Teaching. He'll have a lot on his plate, but he's excited to get to it.

Also, our landlord is selling our house. He expects to sell it to an investor who would still rent to us, but between you and me, it wouldn't break my heart if we had to move. Our kitchen is teeny. One big step gets you from one end to the other, and there's not even room to sit at the table we have crammed in there. But the landlord is paying us back $100 a month to keep the place clean and showable, so we're saving up some money we might need for a security deposit on a new place. If anyone can give me a hint on a quiet place where we can relocate, I'd appreciate the tip!
